Title:Using the Grinder

Dept:Agronomy

1. Use the designated room for grinding, Agronomy B424. Turn on the overhead vents and open the individual vent

above the grinding hood before you start to grind.

2. Use all safety equipment. This includes the following:

– ear protectors

- safety glasses

– dust mask

– lab coat

– latex gloves

3. While the grinder is on, DO NOT

- Put anything but leaves in the top opening

- Open the grinding lid

- Unplug the grinder

4. Before cleaning the inside, shut off the grinder and wait until the motor has stopped completely before

removing the lid.

5. Open the grinding lid by carefully undoing the clasps.
