What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a tool for displaying information on the Internet. RSS feeds work with software called a RSS Reader. The RSS Reader allows you to automatically keep up to date with news and happenings on websites that you are interested in by checking for new items and presenting them to you in a structured form, much as your email client presents new emails. RSS feeds can be read in standalone programs or in your web browser.
How is SoyBase Using RSS

The News Section on our website has traditionally been the way we have done this. Where Can I Go for More Information
RSS feeds are quite popular. A quick search on the search engine of your choice will yield many different readers, and directions how to configure your specific browser. If you are still having difficulty with our feed, please contact the SoyBase Curator (
