Plant Biochemistry

The Division of Biochemistry (biochem.missouri.edu) and the Interdisciplinary Plant Group (ipg.missouri.edu) at the University of Missouri invite applications for appointment as a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor. Applicants should apply biochemical and molecular approaches to the study of plant metabolism.  The successful candidate will have or will establish a research program that complements and enhances our existing strengths in plant biochemistry. The University is noted for interdisciplinary research programs including the Interdisciplinary Plant Group of > 50 faculty members in five Departments.  Position qualifications include a Ph.D. in biochemistry or related field and postdoctoral training.
