Abstract:Derived from the cross Essex √ó Forrest, this recombinant inbred soyabean line (PI603218) possesses resistance to soyabean sudden death syndrome (SDS) caused by Fusarium solani f.sp. glycines and to soyabean cyst nematode (Heterodera glycines) race 3. LS-G96 was released in 1996 for use in marker-assisted selection for SDS resistance.
