Abstract:Soyabean (Glycine max) germplasm line DMK93-9048, an F3-derived line from the cross D86-3429 √ó Braxton, was developed jointly by the USDA-ARS and the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station, Stoneville, Mississippi, USA, and released in April 1999 for its high resistance to foliar feeding by the soyabean looper (Pseudoplusia includens [Chrysodeixis includens]) and the southern stem canker (Diaporthe phaseolorum var. meridionalis) and for its high protein content.
