Abstract:A survey of soybean diseases, completed in the Departamento de Fitotecnia do Centro de Ciências Rurais, UFSM, discovered a number of plants with leaflet lesions. The lesions, on their characteristics, had never been discribed before as a disease of soybeans in Rio Grande do Sul. Frutifications of Corynespora cassiicola (Berk. & Curt.) Wei was observed in the lesions of the dorsal aspect the leaves.
