Title:Resistance to bud blight in introductions from the germ plasm of wild soybean Tobacco ringspot virus.
Authors:Orellana, R.G.
Source:Plant Dis. 1981, 65(7):594-595
Abstract:A total of 14 out of 630 plant introductions of Glycine soja differed in resistance to bud blight caused by tobacco ringspot virus depending on whether they were inoculated at the unifoliate or trifoliate stage. Introduction 378 693B in maturity group VII, a type with pubescent leaves and large seeds, was slightly resistant (as were 11 others) whereas 342 434 and 407 287, both in group V and having very small seeds, were moderately resistant and resistant, respectively.
