Title:Yield losses in soybeans from anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum truncatum Glycine max, cultivars, southeastern United States.
Authors:Backman, P.A., Williams, J.C., Crawford, M.A.
Source:Plant Dis. 1982, 66(11):1032-1034
Abstract:Field plots of soyabean cultivars Bragg, Essex and Hutton were established in a naturally infested area and subsequently sprayed with fungicides differing in efficacy. The effect of the disease on seed yield was estimated by quadratic or linear regression. Estimates of max. reductons in seed yield were 16-26% (av. 19.7%). Yields were typically reduced as the pods became infected.
