Title:Screening of some soybean varieties for resistance to whitefly (Bemisia tabaci Genn.).

Abstract:During 1976-86 a total of 109 soyabean varieties were grown as a second crop after wheat at Çukurova. On the basis of visual observation 42 varieties were classed as very resistant and 25 as resistant to whitefly (Bemisia tabaci). No association was seen between whitefly injury and growth period.
