Title:Inheritance of resistance to soybean cyst nematode
Authors:Caldwell, B.E., Brim, C.A., Ross, J.P.
Source:Agron. J. 1960, 52:635-636
Abstract:The parents used were the resistant introductions Peking, PI90763 and PI84751 and the susceptible varieties Lee and Hill and experimental line D53-354, the last three parents being related. F1 and F2 data indicated that resistance was recessive and dependent upon three independent loci. Two back crosses of the type resistant x (resistant x susceptible) confirmed this hypothesis, which, however, requires to be verified by study of more advanced generations.
